WMQ are currently seeking a Provisionally Registered Psychologist with 12 months of provisional training remaining to join a multidisciplinary team in Brisbane South. In this role you will work with clients across the lifespan under various funding types, but predominately under Brisbane South PHN Psychological Therapies funding (more info here - https://www.wmq.org.au/mental-health/brisbane-south-psychological-therapies-program).

Part of this role will be to conduct psychometric testing of children and adults and you may have the opportunity to deliver group programs. Some travel is required for this position as it is based in co-locations across the Brisbane South region (eg, GPs, neighbourhood centres, etc) and is part of a broader team based at Rocklea. In this position you will be able to access, and be supported by WMQ’s strong clinical governance framework, communities of practice, regular peer supervision and operational supervision and lunchbox PD sessions. WMQ has an extensive mental health first aid network and workplace wellbeing framework – there are opportunities to support this via facilitating the mental health first aid peer supervision or conducting workplace sessions on relevant wellbeing topics. WMQ are offering a two year contract, of which 12 months will be as a Provisional Psychologist and 12 months as a General Psychologist. WMQ will pay for external clinical supervision (as per provisional requirements) for one year (apx $10,000).
